We helped them clean up, then headed to see a life-size Tabernacle, which would have been awesome to see. It was not to be, however, as there was a two-hour wait, and that wouldn't have boded well with 22 high school students. Instead we drove to the Sixth Floor Museum, which is located in downtown Dallas. It is a museum that goes through the assassination of J.F.K. We all enjoyed an audio tour through the exhibits and the view from the sixth floor of beautiful downtown Dallas. Alas, they didn't allow photography, so I don't have any pictures.
Leaving the museum, we explored downtown Dallas, checking out some sculptures, including many bronze longhorn cattle being driven by much larger than life cowboys and horses. We ate at Spaghetti Warehouse, which I thought was very tasty, especially the sourdough bread with garlic butter... mmm. Stuffed, we headed back to the vans, enjoying the lights and sights of the city of Dallas. We headed to bed, ready for the next day's work.
