Occasionally, (this may blow your mind) college students get bored and restless. (Crazy, huh?) What with it being the end of mid-terms week, we had to do something to get out of this building and away from our ever-so studious lives that we normally lead... *wink*. So, a few of us sat down and wondered to ourselves, "Selves, what can we do to get the student body out in the fresh air, playing a game that promotes team building and unity?" Then it hit us, we should carry couches around town! It gets better...
Tonight is the monumental kick-off of the first-ever Got Couch? at
Summit Christian College. What is Got Couch? you ask? For those of you
asking this very question, here is a brief breakdown...
- Split up into two teams.
- Each time has a couch, a pickup to haul it in, and a van to cart the rest of the team around in.
- Each team is given a list of places and activities. Each place and activity has a point value assigned to it.
- The teams must complete as many of these activities as possible in the given time frame.
- The teams must have photo-proof of completion of these activities. Each team has a camera.
- Whichever team has the most points at the end of the night will be declared victorious.
Most of these photos will involve the team being on the couch in
different locations. Some of them will be random happenings they need
to look for.
Keep checking back for photos of the night's events! I'll be posting my
top 10 Got Couch? photos soon. If you're in the Scottsbluff/Gering area
and you see us, stop by and get your picture taken on the couch! Bonus
points for each non-team member on the couches!!!
